New Bowtech's are a Pro Shop only bow.

But they do have a program called the boonies if you dont live within a certain radius of a dealer.

Bought my new Bowtech this year and love it.I shot several bows at the pro-shop.There is nothing wrong with PSE my first bow was a PSE but the bowtech seems to be making a better bow is all lighting fast very quiet and forgiving.Shot a few and see what you like the best as long as you like it thats all that matters

my dad shoots a primos and he seems to enjoy it. Before his primos he shot a bow tech and it didnt fit him right so he switched to the primos

I have shot a few bows PSE's, Browning and Reflex and couldn't tell one from another. hornbow, is it proven that Bowtech bow's are more forgiving or is that your opinion? There are a few things that go into how "forgiving" a bow is but mostly it boils down to brace hight and ATA length. In my opinion, brace hight is even more important than ATA. I shoot a Blackhawk that is just 28 and 7/8 inchs ATA. That is the shortest bow I know of from ANY brand. It has an 8" brace hight though and this bow is more forgiving than my PSE Thunderbolt with a 36" ATA and a 7" brace hight. "Forgiveness" is also a subjective term somewhat so, yes, it is just my opinion BUT the Tomkat does have over a 9" brace hight. It is still a short ATA bow (though longer than my blackhawk) but that enormous brace hight makes it extremely forgiving. If there is another bow out there with a larger brace hight, I haven't heard of it.

Unfortunately, you can't buy a Bowtech online. They are only sold by licensed dealers (pro shops). The Bowtech website can help you locate a dealer in your area maybe though. Also, you can look into the program mentioned by another in a post above.

hornbow, thanks again I guess I have some shooting and decision making to do. I've also been hearing a lot of good things about the new Mathews Outback so I might evan give it a go.
