Anyone use this camo?

Just picked up a set of the 6 color desert camo, new for $50. Some called it the chocolate chip color. It was used in Desert Storm. Now I believe that Predator Camo is probably the best at breaking up your outline but this stuff looks like it might do it too for a third of the cost. While most guys like the green stuff, when hunting season opens around here, there is a lot of tans and browns. Give it a look and your opinion.

I think it would be a great late season patters. As the leaves die off and drop it should be a good open pattern if you're up in a tree. For the late season I like Sticks N Limbs whick is similar in color but with a slightly diffrent pattern. You can't beet the price though and if you're hunting camels it should be about the best camo ever made

All seriousness, what ever works for you in your area. But like Adams says wear some orange and use a light in the wee hours or returning to your truck. (never saw a deer carry a flashlight). Good Luck and use your savings for the taxidermist.

I just had a though. When going to you're stand you may want an orange vest or something. I wouldn't want to be walking around in the woods with browns on durring an open season.
Walmart huh? Guess I need to make a stop sometime soon.

Actually, I'm glad this was brought up. It makes sense. I mean, if you're in the Armed forces and stealth is of utmost importance to keep from getting detected and shot at, why doesn't the military use something like Realtree or MO? Hmmm...makes me wonder. The woodland camo and desert camo like posted do work well in most circumstances though I think the desert camo may be a little light. A lot of wool manufacturers: Sleeping Indian, King of the Mountain can use any camo they want, but opt for a more traditional outfitter camo. Why? Because it works very well in destroying your human outline.

I am no expert on military tactics or uniforms, but I was under the impression that our woodland green camo BDUs were to keep from identifying an individual soldier out of a group, not to disappear in the terrain. The guys that need to hide use ghillie suits built to their specific terrain.
