Hmmmmm. I spend at least $1500 on Purina deer chow, Buck Grub, corn, plot seed, innoculant & fertilizer. Thats before I get started buying the necessities. And none of my stuff "matches".

Each to thier own i guess, i could never imagine paying for someone to butcher my deer, that is one of the most enjoyable parts of hunting.

As for me, i get about 5 years out of my clothes and boots. I have bought 2 guns in 20 years and 2 bows in 2 years :( (first was a mistake, second will be around for awhile). My weakness is hats and gloves, seems like i am buying new everytime i turn around.

yeah i know a guy that like -me. i buy all the best stuff so i have no excuses in the field. also, i enjoy going to the hunting store and hanging out with all my buddies there. its hard to be a kid in a candy store and not buy stuff. like these other guys said, different strokes for different folks.

Some years, the only thing I buy is my license. It all depends on what wears out and the money situation at home. I can buy nothing and have one of my best years. I guess it depends on how much "fun money" one has available to them.
