Summit....I don't like a bar out in front, so look at the Cobra or Bushmaster for the most freedom in front.

Like JasonN said, the Bushmaster allows alot of freedom, yet it is still a very safe stand. I have a Summit Bushmaster XL, it is EVERYTHING you want in a treestand and nothing that you don't. It is plain, which in my eyes is a good thing. It makes everything that much easier.

I have a API grand slam supreme I love it, you can sit in it all day its like a recliner! It also has a padded gun rail to attatch for gun season for that steady shot. Also comes with a full body harness and a chest harness for safe climbing, with a video on how to use it all.

Looks like you've gotten a lot of opinions already, but I'll add one to the list that I didn't see. I'm not sure if you're talking fixed position or climber, but for a climber I'm a big fan of Ol' Man Visions.

I've used one for a couple of seasons now, and I'm very satisfied. To me, the net seat is the most comfortable I've found. I can sit much longer, and I never get that sore "you know what" that I do with other stands.

That being said, I've heard very good things about Summit stands. I'll probably own one before too long myself.

A really good climber is a Warren & Sweat. I dont know the exact model but it is a Tree Facing climber, Has a backrest and a platform.

SUMMIT--I DON'T LIKE HEIGHTS BUT EVEN I CAN FEEL GOOD ABOUT THE SAFETY YOU FEEL WHEN YOUR UP THE TREE.JMO.

I would buy the tree lounge as long as you can leave it in the woods.
The only thing is i would not waste any money on the levelers that they sell with it.
