This waiting is killing me!! The stands are ready, the clothes are washed. If I keep practicing every evening like I am doing, I will need a new target before the end of the week! Isn't it amazing how we are so impatient for the season to start but have enough pateints to then sit in a tree for hours on end?

I'm jealous. I still have another month.

I couldn't stand that. I just checked the extended weather and we are going to have a cooling trend opening weekend. Perfect conditions!!

I got 16 days to wait. Going to the cabin Saturday to get all the stands up and shoot the broadheads some more. Then all I have to do is wait.[:@]

I got until Oct. 2 to be worried about hunting, and even then, I have soccer and school work to worry about.

Evans is in east Central GA, it is right outside of Augusta. I am in Columbia County. I wish I was down in Evans County...BIG Deer down that way. I hunt up around Washington GA. (Wilkes County) What part of GA are you in?

I live in Carrollton which is in Carroll County. Take I20 west and just keep going. It's about 40 min west of atl. I worked in Putnam county about 5 years a go it's close to Wilkes I think but I may be wrong I'll look at a map tonight. Anywho, It's good to meet you. And yea there are some monster deer south of atlanta. I havent seen any huge deer here since I've been hunting but I always keep an eye out

My Hunting Season starts tomorow on September 3rd at noon, i cant wait, hahaha. (i live in North Dakota that is why it is so early)
