whisker biscuit or drop away???????

After getting my new bow last week and shooting it everyday, I have been doing some studying and know that I probably need to be changing my arrow rest from the simple fork prong rest to something else. My question is should I go with a whisker biscuit or a drop away? I do see some advantages in both, but I am curious what all of you think.

Thanks for your help.

They both have their pro's and con's.

I own bows set up with both and after my recent experimentation with blazer vanes through the biscuit I believe I have found a true winning combination.
Those two were made for each other.

In a nutshell, if you like not having your arrow leave the rest accidentally and are in this gig only for hunting then the biscuit will suit you fine.

If your looking for extreme accuracy at any range and out past normal hunting distances
then a drop away may be what your after. Not that the rest in itself provides accuracy, but set up correctly it can help the whole package become more accurate.

I started using a wisker b. a weekago and I love it. Make sure you get the latest model with the opening in the side to put your arrow in. It's very convenient to just drop your arrow in the rest and then it's there for good. It will be a lil noisy for a few shots but it quiets down as it gets broken in. :D

I prefer to shoot a drop away. As stated both have their own advantages.

Bownutt66!I wasn't a fan of the Whisker bisquit ,but I have friends that use them and I've had to eat my word's espeacially when it comes to hunting with one .I'm a drop away guy myself, with a Muzzy Zero Effect on my BowTech Patriot dually. I personally think it's the best ,but as far as the bisquit goes I don't know too many that don't like it ,so either way you go I'll think you'll be very happy.
Also welcome to the forum ,your in the right spot to get these kind of answer's .
