I feel loved.

I found this board by google searching, "bow hunting forum"..this was the first hit..and was also the best. I looked at roughly 20 other links to forums..but this one appeared to be the most informative..and mature.

Alright..now I'll try a few things to get used to this board style. If all goes well, you should see me shooting my bow a few weekends ago.

Welcome!!! I hunt in Indiana as well. I hunt in Dearborn County in SE Indiana. I live in Ohio, but the Indiana border is 20 minutes from my house. Good Luck.

I envy you, dough boy!

The southern part of Indiana is said to be the best for deer hunting. I hunt in Adams county (NE Indiana)...but venture over to Huntington to hunt public land from time to time. There are a few counties north of Ft. Wayne that are great for hunting (Steuben, Kosciusko). I hunt private/family owned land...next year I'll take a drive up to those counties and ask for a new place to hunt or two.

My brother in law and I hunt this particular piece of property, and if I do not mind saying so, it is AWESOME!!! We have both taken nice deer off of there, but he killed the biggest 2 years ago....a HUGE 8 point that would have scored around 160. I have killed a nice 9 point and such, but man his was a bruiser!!! On my way to hunt in the morning, I see so many deer on the road the farm is located on. The farm is +/- 300 acres, but at least half of that is crops, and this year it is corn. Watch out!!!!

Sounds like an awesome setup!

I hunt a small woods...but it's big compared to others in the area. I'm not sure how many acres the woods is..probably 40/50 or so. This is a pic of the woods..this year we have corn on all sides except the NE quarter...which is beans. My primary spot is the red "X"..but we have a bunch of other stands throughout the woods.
