Are you saying they were from last gun season? They might have been legally shot, brought back to camp. quartered, had there antlers cut off and the spare parts left. It seems rare to have 3 deer poached in one area like that unless they shoot them somewhere else and that is just their favorite dump site. It doesn't scream poaching to me though.

Call the local authorities and keep your eyes peeled. It sucks that some people have to resort to that. Hopefully it comes back to haunt them.
