I went to see the owner of my lease.
Just to have a talk to him and see if there was anything else he wanted us to do on the lease.
He told me he had been down there and looked around and that we had done a great job
.
Then he turns around and tells me he is buying a farm up in Colorado and that I can also go and hunt.
I told him it was almost impossible for me to get there this year he says no problem next year will be ok.
All he wants in return is some Elk steaks.
So not only is he going to lease us the property in East Texas for as long as we want we can also go to Colorado when we want.
Now all I have to do is find out is how to get a tag for Colorado

Colorado's a piece of cake. You couldn't have found and easier state to get an elk tag in. Everything is over the counter. Just call up their division of wildlife or check out their website. Here's the link. http://wildlife.state.co.us/hunt/index.asp
