It's a nice bow, smooth as silk , BUT. I have two gripes with it. You can not use a Nap Quik Tune 3000 with Quik spin vanes, and the cables are in the site line to the left of the riser. Where I have my site set up to I can see the cables on third of my site. The Quik Spin vanes with the cock feather down hits the cables ,ands knocks the arrow of the rest when I pull the string back to shoot. Im shooting with straight flecthed arrows with the Nap3000 shoot thru cock feather down and the clearence is only about one eight of a inch with the cables [4inch regular vanes]. Did any of you Bowtech guys have any trouble like this? I love the Nap3000, and the Quick spins do what they say they do[:@]

If you have to shoot Cock vane down using larger vanes such as your Quik Spins on a Liberty switch the slide to the Hicks that Bowhuntr09 suggested or a SIMS teflon version.....these are just aftermarket slides with slightly different dimensions that will pull the string and cable over far enough to give you enough clearance.
About 6 or 7 bucks and your problem is solved.

Matt/PA, so your saying it is OK to use a simms or a slide that pulls the cables that far over?
I was under the impression too much pull was no good for cable wear and tilting the idler at full draw.
If it is OK then I'd really like to go with the Saunders fast-slide.
I tried one on my patriot and liked the way it felt, picked up 1 fps over the simms/stock slide - but the cable/string pull was extreme.

Dave,
I used one just to see how it worked, and even though the angle looked a little more severe, I was getting no ill effects after a few days.............I didn't leave it on because I was having no problems with the stock slide.
IMO it's one of those boarderline things. I wouldn't want it a millimeter beyond the position the SIMS puts the string and cable and I would watch it very closely for excessive wear. Inspect the area after every shooting session.
If you want to try the Saunders slide you'll have to use your own judgement as to what is TOO much, and pay attention to the wear.
Many guys are going to the Hicks slide just because it falls in between the SIMS and the factory version.......just enough clearance, but not pushing the line where you are worried about it.
I would use the SIMS if I HAD TO.......it worked. But I feel much better about the HICKS, or in my case the factory one.
