TROPHY RIDGE PROBLEMS

LAST NIGHT I MOUNTED AND SHOT WITH THE NEW TROPHY RIDGE MATRIX SIGHT. I LOVE THE SIGHT PICTURE, BUT I HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE THUMB SCREWS COMING LOOSE. THEY MOVED 2-3 MINUTE MARKS AFTER ABOUT 15 ARROWS. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY I CRANKED THEM DOWN.HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE.

RE: TROPHY RIDGE PROBLEMS

I have had two Trophy Ridge sights and not had any problems. I may be defective. I would see if you could exchange it.

Two things you may try, one is locktight, or fingernail polish. Put it on the threads, tighten them down and let it dry.

Is it that the screw actually came lose or did the bracket seem to "creep"?
I had an issue with the new Matrix where I had it cranked down but my verical bar kept creeping up. Called Trophy Ridge and was informed they had some that had machining problems and they sent me a replacement horizontal bar. Give them a call.

I had the same problem PADavy mentioned and they sent the new horizontal bar in a few days. Guess some of them were machined to the wrong tolerances.

Locktight/tape/etc. will not help this problem - heck I used superglue and still had the problem :)

Try using string wax on the screw's this will help if they are coming loose.

They had a recall on a particular batch off the production line, you probably got a one from there. They will fix it for you, just call them.
