RE: Crimson Talon - Any Good??
Just on appearances and handling them , I'm much more impressed with their "Raptor" mechanical head.
My buddy Frank bought a pack to try and they are nasty looking things, seem well made and are VERY sharp. A 1" cut on contact main blade with 2 offset vortex looking mechanical blades that stay in place with a no rubber band design that seems better than the blade retention used on the NAP Spitfires. Holds the blades solidly in place but takes little force to open them. I'd like to see how the Raptors perform on game, but based upon opinions I trust I have no intention of using the regular fixed blade Crimson Talon. |

RE: Crimson Talon - Any Good??
I like them, only used them one year, shot at 2 deer and both are in the freezer,so i quess they do the job,and they fly just like my field tips. I really dont think it matters which broad head you use if you make a good shot.

RE: Crimson Talon - Any Good??
I used them last year and i loved them i killed a few deer with them.
I was using the muzzy 100 grain they were fish tailing a little so i switched to the talons and i wont be looking back. Try them if they are not for you go back to what you were using. Good luck |
