Default Deer cane legal?

Minnesota lets you use mineral licks but I noticed the package for this product says it contains artificial and natural sweetners. Any Minnesota hunters know if this makes it illegal? Regs are kind of sketchy, just that you can't use mineral licks with food in them - i.e. molasses, corn, apple bits, etc.
