What type of target does everybody use to practice with. I have a bag target that I got from bass pro for $39.00. It is a great target and the arrows pull out very easy.

Are you talking broadheads or field points?

i use a delta backyard buck II with two inserts, one for my broad heads, and the other for field points, the broad heads chew thru it alot faster but then again i usually dont use my broad heads 1/4 as much as i use my points!

and at 20$ for a replacement vital region and 59$ for the deer it was pretty easy on the budget too! for a 3d target anyway.

I'm using the cheap Walmart foam targets right now but I plan to pickup a better target soon. I'm waiting for the new WV Cabela's to open up.

I have a bag, two McKenzie deer and a Strutter in the back yard. They see about 100 shots a year. Living 6 miles from the archery club has it's advantages as that's where I spend about 4 days a week. Get to shoot the 3D's thru the woods and scout for deer.

One McKenzie Buck target. I shoot fieldtips only into it, and a Hips block target for my broadheads.

I have Morrell's (I think they make this) Bionic buck. I also just bought a new Black Hole to test out broaheads.

I really like the bionic buck. No opinion yet on the Black Hole

I use "The Black Hole" now with both field tips and broadheads. I originally had a cheap bag target and tried shooting a broadhead into it. Can we just say, DUH!!!!! I had to unscrew the XX75 arrow, then take sissors and an exacto-knife and literally cut the broadhead out of the target bag. A little clear duct tape, and the target bag can still be used.

I have a large bag target on a PVC frame (Third Hand cover), a Morrell Bionic Buck and a McKenzie deer.
The bag and the Bionic Buck get the bulk of the action........Once you practice with a Bionic Buck it's hard to even look at foam.
