RE: TrophyLine Tree Saddle
Seems to me it's a waste. You still need to get up in the air some how. Screw in steps suck the first time you set them. Then I don't know about you but I don't like the idea of my feet breaking loose bark to fall on the ground. Nothing like saying to the deer "hey look up here".[:o]

RE: TrophyLine Tree Saddle
Ok guys I have one and I would choose my Oldman Grand Vision any day of the week over the saddle. It is nice if you are spotting deer in a field and you want to climb a tree just inside the wood line and put a ambush on them when they retreat to the woods after eating because it is quick and quiet. As far as long term sitting better get your back doctor on speed dial. But let me tell you they are the best thing in the world to have for hanging lock on stands just strap on to the tree and work with 2 free hands. High price to pay for hanging lock on stands though.

Secondly, you don't rest all your weight on the steps. When taking the shot/standing sure you'll have most of your weight on a couple steps...but people OWN THEM them say that they really comfortable to "sit" in....kinda like a hammock. |
RE: TrophyLine Tree Saddle
Alias, you wouldn't be the inventor of this would you, by any stretch of the imagination? You wouldn't be the owner of the company, right?

RE: TrophyLine Tree Saddle
lol....no....I just was wondering if anybody here tried it yet. Wanted a "real" review. Personally I could care less how some people think it. The original question was if anybody tried one. Seems out of all of the GUESSES I see here....we got one answer from a owner....Texarkanimal. I'll take his advice. Thanks Texarkanimal.
Livbucks...your feet would be on one of the pegs that you make the ring around the tree with. They wouldn't be danglin'. I'll just stick with my old Cougar Claw as I have not found a studier platform yet. I just wish the damn thing had cables instead of that old style flat bar. That and that nice Loggy Bayau seat on the XL. |
