School makes it worse for me. I usually just end up reading an issue of Bowhunter or something else during class....waiting for the end of the day so I can go hunting.

No I'm not addicted.[8D] Try telling my wife that.

She says if I'm not addicted why is my bowhunting bill up to ~$2600 so far this year. I try to rationalize it by saying that I did get a new bow that I have about $1200 in. That was not a good rationalization. And the other kicker is, I haven't even paid for a lease this year yet. []

All my buddies that I hunt with say that I could open my own shop and still not be lacking for gear to use.

It's very rare that when they need something that I don't have a spare to lend them. This is only the 2nd year for most of them and I've been doing it for about 20 now.

Man I got a lotta stuff.

Definately addicted. I use to hoard all my money and not spend a dime of it... then i started hunting. This will be my 4th year hunting and I spend every dime I make on hunting. I totaled up my Gander Mountain and Cabelas receipts and in the last two years I have spent just shy of 800 at Cabelas and about 1000 at Gander Mountain. I'm also going to be shelling out another 500 at cabelas on Monday O yeah add in the 1000 I spent on a bow this year. Keep in mind I'm a high school student and I've made about 4000 in the last two years and spent most of it on hunting.

ahh yes, good to know I'm not alone. If only there was curriculum that involved bows, arrows and tree stands.... We would all be set.
