My turn...

I think you will see more deer in the beans - especially evenings even after the beans are cut down. Young deer and does will bed down in the standing beans also.

BUT - If you're after a big boy, I'd hunt the corn - much more security over there.

I like the idea of a thin strip of woods and creek running between the 2 - sounds very similar to the patch of private ground I hunt. Pre-rut - expect some heavy rub lines along the trees, especially if there aren't many trees around for some miles!!!

In summary: if you're just looking for venison - hunt the beans. If you're looking for a trophy, hunt the rub lines up until after the rut - then hunt the corn provided it is still standing (some around here stands until late november)

Hunt the wind on both sides and just watch, do some scouting from your stand, thats all i would do. Ya mess around too much and you could get them to live in that corn and only be ran out when the farm comes to cut it,lol.
