I am glad that you found out before you got in trouble. Unfortunately, to the moral minority you are now considered a poacher
It doesn't make any difference that it was a minor infraction and you had no intention of breaking the law, you're still a poacher in their eyes
Just to clarify I am not part of that minority. I would say you made a mistake and no harm no foul

As long as it's not between 9/1 and 12/15. The expanded archery season opens on 9/11 this year and closes on 12/14. The give the deer a couple of weeks prior to "hide" and it's legal again the day following the close of the season.
