A PSE bruin or Triton might be a good fit
The Bruin is around $300.00 give or take a little

The Triton is around $350.00

Both have an 8" brace height that will be a little more forgiving.

I think it would be a good choice.
AtA 33 3/8" so it's pretty compact. Good from a tree stand.
Brace height 8 3/4" should make it pretty forgiving
3.8 lbs is pretty light
294 IBO speed is respectable

check out the PSE NOVA! its probabaly one of teh best bows priced under 300 fully set up... and you shoudl be able to get them thru bass pro or Cabellas. i would recomend THAT bow. if your going to get serious its a great bow to start out with. just work on its noise level...

A friend of mine is looking at the fire-flite,would be a great bow to get your hands on.P.S.E makes some of the best products and you cant go wrong with this company. This bow offers short A to A,respectable speed, and a very forgiving brace height.I really like the seclusion 3D camo pattern, looks sharp
