I also just succumed to the "old age near sighted syndrome" , I got my glasses yesterday but I haven't shot my bow yet.
Hope I dont have any problems. I know I'll at least be able to see the kill zones at 20yds and beyond now.

Ive been wearing glasses since 6th grade, so when I learned to shoot, the glasses had no effect on me. Ive always had to change angles or position to see some things. You learned to shoot a bow without glasses, so now its just a matter of teaching yourself to shoot with. Your gonna have to break some habits and form new ones.

I started to wear glasses full time for hunting about 2 years ago and had the same problems as everyone else. I found the by drilling out my peep site a little larger helped and also now use Rain-X Fog before I go out stops my glasses from fogging. Hope this helps.

I put up with the same problems for over 20 years. Laser surgery a year ago put an end to all my problems - my only problem now is if I miss, I can't blame it on poor vision!

USE THE FORCE TWANG!!! Just like Obi Wan said. Feel the deer, be the deer, smell the deer, shoot the deer...then eat the deer.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I have been wearing glasses since a young age and hate them. I am near sighted and now old enough to also have a problem reading. The solution I came up with is contacts and mono vision. One eye is corrected for distance and the other for reading. It may take awhile to adjust to it but for 90% of the time it works great. For small print in dim light I will still use cheap reading glasses but other than that I am glasses free. No fogging, no worry about rain, no frames.

I wear contacts and glasses. But what is the "cure" for keeping the glasses from foggin up? What about scopes on a gun? That has costed me a deer. Email me at [email protected]

Hmmm. I wear glasses but never gave this any thought. I guess I just naturally square up to where it works for me.
The worst and most frustrating part of wearing glasses (while hunting) is when they fog up on you. I haven't found a sure-fire cure for this yet but it has actually cost me a deer!
The only thing I can think to suggest is trying contact lens. You'll probably want to get with your doctor to see if your right for them.
