carpmaster is mistaken , i have killed a pile of deer with carbons to include a 240 lb dressed out 12 -point from Ohio which scored 147 0/8 gross 139 2/8 net P&Y.

I was stubborn and wouldn't change for a long time. Last year, I made the switch and couldn't believe their consistensy and durability. Just hate the cost...But I'll get over it.

In my experience with the average carbon they aren't as consistent weight, spine, straightness, and flight. But I still shoot 'em, ACC's that is.

They were too light, but now well...I guess I'll have to go to the other post!

Way to expensive, throw to tight of groups, and they don't bend like alum. and they are way to durable. And plus the deer prefer alum. those darn carbon arrows stick to much as they go thru their lungs, pretty uncomfortable for them.
