80 acres located in Knox county Illinois (near fulton) that is a 6 1/2 acre lake and it has 3 food plots, 2 hay fields, and 2 corn fields. I have only been out there about 3 times lots of deer sign. only seen 1 big old doe and a turkey hen.

Thats a GREAT county!!!!!!! May want to think about changing the hay fields to CRP fields. I wish I had that little chunk. I'd be willing to bet you'll wack a big one this year if you play your cards right.

That property has some great potential. alot of funnel areas it looks like. Start planting some trees, maybe walnuts and red oak. some food plots too. that is a great chunk of ground. how much did you pay an acre for it? i think land here is going anywhere from $2000-4000 dollars. its nuts.

about 2000 acre
I am in the process of haveing the dnr stock the pond and lake and they have a program for tree planting that im looking into right now too.
there are a lot of trees puting out acons there too. If you look at the picture there is a white block near the lake (its and old trailer that was left on there when we bought it) I want to pull that out and fill in the whole area with trees.

I would say looks like a great peice of hunting land but like everyone else some more trees would do some good with a few food plots. Nice that the house is on the edge of it so if it gets loud there it shouldnt scare the deer to much.
