New Bow Help...

I'm in need of a new bow, but I hate change. I've killed about 35 deer, a couple bears, turkeys, etc. with my current bow, and I love it. I believe I have a hairline fracture in the upper limb. It is a Pro-Line Force II, and was made in about 1987. I love the weight and size of the bow...
Question...Can I still find a "big" bow out there? I've shot these new little bows, and absolutely despise them. (I know they're great, I just don't care for them)
Does anybody still make a big compound? If I can't find one, I think I'll try to find a limb and replace the one on my old bow...or maybe go back to my recurve.
Thanks so much.

Call Darton and ask if they can fit a new set of limbs to your bow. Also go to www.archerydirect.com They are a Darton and Proline close out shop connected with Darton selling direct with some very good deals. You can find a modern bow with the specs you like, just search the web. Here's one

Thanks, Gimpy. I'm going to try to get with Darton. I looked at some of those bows, and they do have some that are longer. Kinda cool looking, too.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Martin has several bows that go as long as 45" all the way down to 32" depending on the limbs you choose. Then again, Dartin is a fine line of bows also. Wish you well.

Try some of longer axle to axle models such as:
Hoyt Protec and Ultratec
Bowtech Pro 40
Mathews Conquest 3
I shoot a Hoyt Protec, which by today's standards is considered a target bow b/c of it's long axle to axle. But my feable mind tells me, if the top pro archers are shooting these longer bows for more accuracy, that is exactly what I need to be doing.
Plus, I like the feel of a "big" bow as well.

I like AT LEAST 40". I know that most today are shorter than that...but I'm not a fan of the feel of the shorter bows.
I like somewhere between 65&75 pounds. Mine now is 71#, and that is comfortable.
