i have a 8 to 1 doe to buck ratio, so finding does is very easy for me. If i were you i wouldnt focus on bedding areas i would focus on feeding area's. You could be in a bucks bedroom and not know it.

Follow the runways off the fields and into thick cover. Look for multiple beds in groups. probably does in the fall, this time of year though could be bucks. one bed with two smaller ones is normally a doe bed. I dunno what our buck:doe ratio is, on our Wisconsin land, probably 1:2 or 1:3. Iowa land, 1:3 or 1:4. could be smaller. most people overestimate. keep in mind button bucks too when youthink of the ratio.
