I used to go when it was a little shop. Now its a monster. It's always to busy for me. I usually just go get what I need then leave.
I'm pretty good friends with the family, somtimes they will let us shoot after hours out at the platform.

I am in my second year of using my trail cams. I make sure they are pointed away from the sun, remove any foliage that may trip the camera, and make sure it is not to high on the tree. I like to set my cam at 2 pics a minute. It allows me to get a good look at the bucks racks from two different angles. I also just found out that putting it directly on a trail can be bad. I have a picture of half a buck's ear, and six point visible on that half an ear. I sure wish I would have set it back a bit and got a pic of the whole deer.

I have a cheapo stealth cam. I have been putting duct tape on the sensor on my food plots and almost all of the deer picture get center shots. Before taping you would get half deer pictures. With only 24 pictures per roll of film its worth narrowing the sensor.

That sounds like a great idea. I will have to try it, as I also have the stealth cams.

We have 5 cheap Stealth cams & one cuddieback digital. We replaced the web strap with tie wire. This makes it real hard to find the cams , as we have camoflaged them up. Thieves have to look directly at the camera to see it.

Great idea with the tie wire. I think you are right. That thick black strap really stands out against the lighter bark of the trees.
