Bowtech Pre-Purchase Question

Bowtech Pre-Purchase Question
I am just about to purchase a Bowtech Patriot VFT and I was wondering if any one has any input as to what this should cost me. There are two shops that carry them within 50 miles of me. I called the first shop and they quoted me $719 and then I called the other and was qouted $659. Does anyone have any idea what a dealer pays for one of these, so I can judge wether I can dicker with them at all?
Thanks,

RE: Bowtech Pre-Purchase Question
I wish i could have gotten mine for $659 out the door[]Here in canada things seem to be a little more expensive though.
My dealer sells them for 950.00 taxes included,But i got a very sweet deal from him,$750 cost price.I help him at the shop on and off and bring new customers into him occasionally----These bows are starting to be recognized around my area, starting to sell like hot cakes. It just seems everyone is still buying crossbows, but the compounds are becoming more popular every year

RE: Bowtech Pre-Purchase Question
Thanks, guys. It sounds like $659 is a good deal, but I just wanted to make sure. I'm a business man myself, and I realize the shop owner needs to make a living, but at the same time I don't want him making huge margin.

RE: Bowtech Pre-Purchase Question
Ditto on the $659 deal. Here they are just a tad more expensive so I would grab it at that price. Chances are that the first dealer just quoted you the MSRP and would probably haggle with you from there.
Good luck with the new bow.
