Where do u like to hunt in feilds, hardwoods, or swamps. and why?

I like to hunt in acorn groves. White oaks are the best deer love them. Or trails heading into the swamps.

It all depends what time of the year and where. My favorite place if I have to pick is thick thickets. I'm a believer that you don't need a lot of shooting lanes you only need the right one.

I just love the open hardwoods, seeing deer travel through them is just mystic and magical, watching the leaves fall and the crunch,pause,crunch of a big buck coming at ya..................man i cant wait to get in the stand.

Creek beds between thicker cover and food

Doesnt really matter to me. I like hardwoods and swamps, but most of the time i hunt field edges near hardwoods.

Well, i guess i would hunt all of them, depending on what the deer are doing. If you asked me what im most comfortable in, i would say open hardwoods or gnarly thick stuff. i dont hunt fields much. most of the bucks come out past shooting hours anyway, so you gotta get back in the woods a ways.
