How many of you have Illegally taken game or Illegally placed a treestand, or trespassed or something of the sort...?
Dont need to say what it was , but If there is anyone on here that says they haven't, It will be pretty hard to believe it...

Speaking for myself I choose not to break game laws. Ethics are an important part of bowhunting and our sport depends on us to protect it. Doing any of the things you've mentioned would put a stain on the reputation of bowhunters and further endangers our sport.

Speaking for myself, I think that's a @#&! stupid question. And your followup observation is nothing but a blatant insult. What? Are you a poacher who's trying to make himself feel better, hoping to find fellow lawbreakers here?[>:]

There are many here who claim to be righteous never having faltered, even by mistake
The part that gets me is that some of them are so far up on their high horse they don't take common sense into account. Every state has laws that are somewhat ambiguous. To know whether or not they had broken a law, they would not only have to know in detail every single game law and statute on the books but they would also have to know every single game wardens interpretation of that same law
[>:]
[:'(][&:][:-] So righteous are these people that they can not only assure you that they have never broken a law
but they will call you a no good poacher for breaking any game law regardless of intent, malice, or severity.
Don't get me wrong there are some good folks on this board, but there are also some foolish wannabe self righteuous judgemental hypocrites also. You know the type. They have killed one deer and now they are an expert deer hunter.
They have been around the board for a few months and now the are one of the "founding members". [&:] yadda yadda yadda But I guess you get some of those types everywhere. To answer your question, yes, I have broken a game law.

Thanks Arthur for the support. On this board at this time of year you will find the most dedicated bow hunters, No questions asked. We read and know the regulations before setting out into the field. We do more that our part to ensure that bowhunter have a good name in our communities and 99% of us live by fair chase. Hunting deer isn't about killing animals! It is sport and I hold the animals I hunt in the highest reguards. Please refresh yourself on the rules of the forum.

Krotalus,
Very few people break game laws on purpose. However, we all make mistakes. To some here it makes no difference whether you broke a law on purpose or by accident nor how minor nor severe. It's black and white. If you have broken a game law you are a poacher.
The ironic part is that of course there is no way to know every game law and statute and then no way to know a wardens interpretation of that statue but that makes no difference cause the hollier than thou's have never made a mistake
