I am originmally from Washington PA about an hour south of Pittsburgh i lived there for 18yrs and then joined the ARMY since then have been to kentucky, goergia, Arizona, New York, and now im stationed in Louisianna.......

Born and Raised in Northern Dauphin County near Halifax in a little village called Carsonville. Anyone ever heard of the Carsonville Hotel? But now live just outside State College in Milesburg, PA (Centre County).

Hey BGfisher, hope you didn't order the LARGE fries when You were at the Carsonville Hotel. If you did you'd still be there eating them. I grew up a half mile away from the hotel towards Halifax. My dad played on their softball team when I was growing up, Dick and Doris Bisking and kids are great friends of my family. The place is great, it looks like a dump outside but once you set foot inside you will get just about the best food anywhere. I try to stop by everytime I get home to my parents place. In fact I have my own mug that hangs above the bar. So you stopped during fishing season you must have been fishing Powells Creek. I spent a good portion of my childhood fishing that creek, so much in fact I could still fish it with my eyes closed and walk away with my limit in the late summer. Glad to know someone else that knows about the great secret that is the Carsonville Hotel.

I live in Palmyra (near Hershey, PA) and hunt locally for the most part.

PA Hardwoods, I've been by the Carsonville Hotel. Looks like a scary place to eat, but I've heard the food is good. My wife bought two matching glass front high-buffet tables, about a year apart from two different antique stores, that once resided in the hotel. We refinished one that keeps books and pewter dishward. The other is still awaiting TLC. :D

I grew up in Beaver, Beaver County. Have since moved to southern Allegheny County. Went to college in Clarion, PA, and the family used to have a camp in McKean Co. We still hunt the same land in McKean, but have since sold our camp.

I live in Rockford,Illinois, PA. We started a new hybrid PA deer here. Hooked an air hose up to em and blew em up. Holly cow what a breed, Heard Pike County, Il is looking into it. Might make the Soddey camp log if we can get one. Just saying heeeelllllloooooo to you guys. Good hunting.

10 miles east of Reading, Berks Co. If you know what town's name comes from the word "Olink" then you know where I'm from. Olink is the the Lene Lenape word for kettle or bowl.
