Pultruded carbons for me. The ones that started it all are still the best.
Amen!... they blow through deer like an ice pick does sidewalls. Hey now, don't get twisted, I'm no vandal... I just investigate it. They're tuff as nails too. Shot more than one deer with the same shaft. Pultruded carbons with an outsert can smack a concrete block and still shoot like they just came out of the box. Really? Embarassingly enough, I tuned a bow that had a string loop let go, blitzing a block wall from about 10 feet. The field point was 10-7, but the arrow was just fine. Try that with an internal component shaft of any material, carbon or aluminum, and if you're lucky, you'll have a bow kick stand. Oh yeah, and the disclaimer... kids... don't try this at home.
