Pultruded carbons for me. The ones that started it all are still the best.

I hunted with wood arrows the first 25 years in the woods. Shot aluminum for the past 20 years.

Never did find an all-carbon arrow straight and consistent enough, or long enough in many cases, for me to shoot broadheads very well. So, I never hunted with carbon.

I had a blast of nostalgia a few months ago and got a hankering to shoot wood again. I've got cedars in my quiver as we speak.

Wow, I can't believe how few of us still use aluminums!!

I can't even imagine shooting anything but alum.

I hunt Turkeys with Aluminum and Whitetail and Antelope with Carbons. I love to shoot and have a carboard press that I shoot a lot. I shoot aluminums into it because you can't pull carbons out. I get the cardboard free so that's why I use it the most. I also have a bag target but if I shoot a couple arrows at the same target I get a pass through.[:@] When they pass through they blow a hole and a bunch of the stuffing out the other side.[] Someday I may go back to aluminums altogether but not for this coming season. I use Carbon Express Terminator Hunter Selects and weight almost the same as aluminums anyway.

I love the Easton ACCs. Thinking about trying the Easton Axis shafts.
