Anyone else had problems with this release? I had problems with it slipping
off the loop and damn near dry firing my bow. I took it back and got the one with the closed head and haven't had a problem. Was just wondering if i was doing something wrong?

I think the release is dangerous. If they would of made a little more hook to the loop attachment (like the short and sweet) it might solve the problem.
Thanks for the response LEN. Glad i'm not the only one that had a problem with this release.

The hook position is reversed compared to every other loop release on the market. You can't stand and hold the hook onto the loop, as would be required in a hunting situation, without the hook falling off the loop. This also presents a strange situation when you begin your draw cycle. [:@] You had one so you know what I'm saying has merit. [&:]
I like Jim Fletcher's products generally and I just got some stock in on their Primos style. I think, however, that they really 'blew it' with the Jim Dandy.
