Default RE: asat camo sizes/fit

bowscout,
I just saw Chuck Pensyl yesterday at Macrotech. He was setting up Len as Maryland's first ASAT distributor. We were getting out all the ASAT stuff and trying it on.
I got 2 new pair of BDU pants, a button down shirt a long sleeve T, dew rag, bandanna...
I can tell you from experience that the BDU's are Mil-spec sizing, i.e. BIG.
I wear a 34" waist and the size Large are really big...but I wanted that and I like that. I probably could have gottten a Medium if I was going to wear them for "street" cloths but I like them baggy so briars don't stab into my legs. I wear a 44 reg. in a suit coat and buy X-large shirts in ASAT.
I would say if you were in the Baltimore area to take your stuff to Macrotech and have Len exchange it for you, but since you're not, call Chuck @ 570-233-2537 and he will take care of you. Those guys have great customer service! Hopefully you have not washed anything yet. As for the shrinkage, I just got mine yesterday and did the "no-no" with mine...hot wash, cold rinse and hot dryer[], just to get it to shrink and fade. Well guess what...nothing, no shrinking or fading!. They are using some "new" cotton fabric and dying process that really holds up. This stuff is unbelievable!!! Super soft and looks new wash after wash.
p.s. I'll take the shirt! could always use another one

Call Chuck and get it straightened out, ASAT wants you to be satisfied!
