A friend of mine posted this on another forum. I thought some of you folks might enjoy this site. Terry Martin, from Martin's Archery, is supposedly the one behind it..and it is still somewhat under construction but there is alot of interesting stuff there.

Man, some of those old mechanicals are scary! Especially the ones that are like scissors. Were those ever popular?

It amazes me how far compound bows have come in the last 30 years. Every year there are new innovations.

Awesome site Frank. It's amazing how people argue over what's best (Hoyt, Mathews, Parker, BowTech etc.) when those companies either did not exist or were in their infancy not so long ago. It's also amazing how ahead of the times Martin has been in the industry with the original single cam and vibration dampeners. If they had better marketing we'd all probably shooting Martin's right now because there's no arguing they put out a great bow.

Thats a little scary for me because, I have shot with couple of the old guys in the pictures and yes with a recurve back in the 60s. Makes me feel old I was a young buck back than.

What's really amazing is how many of today's innovations are really repeats of ideas that failed in the marketplace 25 years ago. Like the single cam bow.
