Don't let folks on the net get to you. There is so much fake BS on the net that a lot of people are skeptical of everything. I don't get why he went on about how your bow looks normal size against the deer. How does he know what size bow you have? His "a deer is a deer anywhere" statement tells me how much he knows. Don't let em run ya off. There's too many good folks on here. See ya.

I'll have you know that's the first time I've been to the Deer hunting forum in over a year probably. I try and stay away from there. Too many wannabe know-it-alls or don't-know-nuthins for my taste. Not just on this site, it seems most general deer hunting forums are that way. I stick to the archery forums everywhere I visit.

cfdjay,
Don't be leaving now. Good guys on the board out number the bad ones about 10 to 1. Just learn the ones you can listen to and ignore the rest. You seem like a good guy and we would like to increase the good to bad ratio here.
And that is still a huge doe.

I don't really care how big the doe is...its a nice deer and better than I did last year. Congrats a good kill. Camera Angles, trick photos, and software editing this is a hunting sight not a forensics posting. You tell me thats a big doe. I believe you. besides maybe the camera angle made you look smaller.

I did not read the deerhunting forum thread yet but if I could offer a friendly suggestion, whenever I am about to post something on the forums...especially a new thread....I always try to look at it from all angles because though the intent may always be good there will always be someone that interprets it in a different way.
Nice doe by the way.

Don't worry about it Jay,
In Northers New England (Maine & New Hampshire) there are doe taken every year that push 200lbs. Tell that to someone in the southern states and they thing your full of it. Deer in diffrent parts of the country vary in size and shape. Where that deer was taken is known for large deer and your pics shows why.
Congrats on a great deer and forget what the orange army said[:-]lol
