Best way to solve it is buy a old man tree stand, very quiet and comfortable

I don't use your stand but do use bungi's to keep everything tight until I'm at my peak where I want to lock it on.

Mouse, loggy is a nice stand but give the old man a try you won't sorry!

I'am here to tell ya, Summit make the best deer stand and they have the best customer service i have ever seen. My viper is very quiet and reliable i would trade in my girlfriend for one.........put it that way!:)
