SKB makes great cases, they are expensive though. And for the outback, id say buy the bigger one incase you decide to put stuff in with it or if you get a bigger bow.

I have a cheaper plastic case and it barely fits. I don't know what you would do for and airplane.

I've got the pro44 and it is a great case. It was about $45 or $50. I have a Pearson. Its about 36 ata and there is a little room left but not a lot. You might get a 38 ata in but it would be close.

To each his own........but I'll tell you what a Pro shop owner told me one day and it made complete sense !!!

Why would you pay nearly $1000 for a great bow and great accessories and put it in a $20 dollar case ?????

I spent the money on a SKB 7 years ago and it still works as good as it did when I bought it..........never had any problem with any of my bows and it is airline proof !! One $150 bow case ........7 years old......home to 4 different bows and counting !!

My wife got me the SKB soft case for Christmas a couple Christmas's ago for my Legacy. It fits the Outback just fine. I think Bass Pro Shops has them for $80. It's light, and just right for riding around in the pickup. If I every need one to fly with, I'll buy a hard case SKB.
