how far away is youer target

The distance to any target is in both feet and yards
I prefer inches myself, makes it seem much farther away. Anyone can make a 15 yd shot. But tell someone you made a 540" shot and that just sounds way more impressive

Mine are footsteps. Approxamately one step equals one yard as I use this method when setting up my stand in the bush.
My targets here in the yard is a 20 yard 3-d deer target, 13 yrd black hole target ( broadheads mostly) and a 30 yrd Morrell target that I have an elk burlap target drapped over it. Bobby

In my yard I shoot from about 10 yards to 50 yards when practicing from the ground. When I'm practicing from elevated I usually shoot from straight down(one or two yards) to 35 yards.

mines set at about 30yds. i dont measure i step it off so its "around" 30yds. but its a good practice distance for me and i can move it closer or farther if needed
