david--do they ever run any specials in that store? everything so overpriced. underarmour tops for $35! that is crazy. i did end up spending $300 though. i had 3 hours to kill while my wife was shopping elsewhere in baltimore. the one thing i was going to get was a ladder stand w/ a sling seat-but of course they didnt have any more. they do have almost everyhting there-but you pay thru the nose for it.

They do run specials in all of the Bass Pro's, Cabelas and alike but you need to be there. It's hit or miss. I shop online but in my travels have visited many of the store across the US. Some have great specials. The best specials I have found however are in Dicks and other stores like (ie the ones that are more general sports stores). Right after gun season ends in their respective states they clear out their hunting merchandise to make room for spring sports.

i screwed up and missed the specials at dicks. they had the ladder tree stand there. i will prob pick one up this august when they get their shipments. filedmouse-where are you at in virginia?

I'm not in Va. I'm in NC. I have hunted for years in NoVA. It has some of the best hunting around.
