wondering how many silence there tree stand with any type of material like hockey tape or anything to cut down on noise while walking to stand (tree limbs hitting aluminum or steel frame) or to reduce risk of hitting bow or scraping arrows against sitting platform-----i see cabelas carries some type of wrap now, waht do some of you use to quite it down.

Default RE: silencing tree stand

3M makes a high-voltage wire insualtion wrap that I put on my Summit. Its about 1/32" thick, 3 inch wide rubber wrap that comes in "duct-tape like" rolls. My electrician uncle got me some, but it can be found at electrician supply stores. It stretches very tight, and works well to silence the clang of twigs and such against the metal.
