ASAT story from this morning

I was doing a little turkey hunting this morning when two does jumped up ahead of me. I immediately froze and they stopped about 60 yards ahead of me and turned around. The closest one kept moving her head around and stomping trying to figure out what spooked them. After doing this for a few minutes she started trotting right at me. She finally got to about 25 yards and smelled me and they took off. This camo is amazing. Thats the second time I've spooked deer and they've looked back at me and can't see a thing. Now if I could just get a gobbler get that close!

Another thing about the 3d leafy suit I forgot to metion. It was a balmy 87 degrees here today. I stayed pertty comfortable though since the suit is mesh. I had on a cut off t-shirt and shorts underneath. Chuck and the guys have an awesome product!

I had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago on opening morning of Turkey Season... Was walking into a clearing and out pop 5 deer. I freeze. 4 keep feeding, but one stomps a bit and moves towards me... This went on for about 10 - 15 minutes before I decided I had had enough of the game. I got up and kept walking, they took off.

Guess what? it wasn't ASAT, it was Real Tree Hardwoods HD. Yeah, you heard me. ;)

Camo this, camo that. I've had the same thing happen repeadly many years ago when Trebark first came out. I was one of the first to wear it in our group while the others laughed at it. Don't wear it now but it produced the same exact results. Now it's ASAT and Stick N Limbs that have that desired effect.

titleist_03 I did the exact same thing when I was turkey hunting in Maryland a few weeks back. All I wore were a pair of shorts a t-shirt and my rubber boots with the ASAT suit over top it was real nice when it was hot.:D

Whatever gives you confidence is OK in my book.

I have had deer do the exact same thing you describe in your story countless times over the years................and I was wearing BLAZE ORANGE!!

All the camo patterns out there are nice. It's not like hardwoods, adv timber, or mossy oak aren't worn by guys that kill a million deer a year. ASAT seems to get nice reviews by most owners so I'm sure it does a fine job. Better then anything else??? I doubt it, but it sure doesn't seem to hurt ;)

The Predator camo line in Cabela's archery catalog looks like ASAT IMO.

I have the deer do the same thing to me and I'm in my street, work cloths. Hate to bust your bubble but the camo ain't got all that much to do with it.. Staying still does..
Try it for yourself, go out with blue jeans and Flannel shrit. Deer will react the same if you stand still..
