Over the years I've dropped my share of stuff including bows from various heights. Never any damage.
Last spring I dropped a bow with a whisker biscuit rest from 8' and it met a few pin limbs on it's way down. When I retrieved it the arrow was still nocked and ready for action, gotta love that.

Yep. Last fall, I had my Pro Line Riptide in it's bowholder, and I stood to put on a jacket. Well, apparently I kicked the bow, and down it went. I had visions of cables flying everywhere, but it landed just right, and fortunately did no damage. bout 25 feet up.

Yup, just happened to me this morning while I was deer hunting. It was still dark and I thought my bow was securely in the bow holder. It WASN'T![:o]

Luckily I was surround by new growth all around me and I could hear it cushioning the fall. The ground was also very soft because of the rain. I climbed 25' back down the tree to retreive my bow.:(

The upper eccentric was covered with mud; which brings up a WARNING. Had I drawn the bow while it was still dark, I would have probably blown it. The mud was jammed into the take up track and would have definitely walked the string off the cam. As soon as it was light enough, I grabbed a twig and wiped the mud out of the track.;)

2 different pair of binoculars; both broken, a shotgun; broken scope, my fanny pack, water bottle, portable urinal, and grunt call too many times to count...but not my bow, at least not yet <sound of me knocking on wood>:D
