X-scent

Anyone gonna try out the new scent killing technology this year? If I get the money together this summer I might give it a try. Right now I use scent lok and think it works to a certain extent but eventually loses it power. This X scent stuff is supposed to last a heck of alot longer becuase it doesn't need reactivated like carbon suits do. What's everyone else think?

I haven't heard much about it yet. It is so new still.
I will be wearing some contain this year with my scent lok though. I am interested in hearing about the x scent to though.
I have searched all over the web for scientific no biased scent clothing effectivness comparsions but no luck[&o]

Does anyone know the difference between x-scent and contain, reading the cabelas catalog is quite confusing. I am sure both are similar technologys. If it works it looks like good stuff for early season warm hunts. Plus its fun to aggrevate the wife telling her I need new clothes for hunting, priceless.

Read all about the xscent technology here: http://www.fastestbows.com/articles/...an/x-scent.htm
It is supposed to work toward avoiding odor rather than adsorbing it like carbon suits. It theorhetically kills the bacteria formed by sweat before it can create B/O. I know that the troops in Iraq are using the silver lined socks and they work to control foot odor after many long hot sweaty hours in boots. I think I may try it this fall.

Contain uses a built in deoderant to cover up human odor.
Xscent has pure silver sewn into the threads and pure siliver ions kill bacteria on contact.
There is a good review of it at fastestbow.com.
