I have not tried that one, but it's on my list of things to do. I have tried the Muzzy zero effect, TT shakey hunter and the Golden key TKO and the APA twister. All of these rests have performed well. Each has it's own little quirks but have proven to be reliable and work well once you understand them.

I liked the design and function of the drop zone. I think it would be a good choice for the Outback. But, as 5shot stated, there are also a variety of other dropaways that should "fit the bill". You may also consider the NAP Quicktune dropaway rest as I believe it is offered in a model specifically for the roller guard Mathews bows.

Another vote for the Drop Zone. I've got one and it works as advertised. I did a bit of forum research prior to buying and found that they generally had the least number of negative comments posted about them. It seems most everyone gets the Drop Zone working successfully.

I've considered the Drop Zone for my Patriot, but after seeing the arm on a couple of them that had gotten bent fairly easily, I've chosen to hold off for now. Besides, I haven't totally given up on the Vital Bow Gear drop away yet. If I can get it tuned, it will be the ultimate fall away hunting rest.
