Choose the broadhead that you can get the best accuracy out of. Shot selection and accuracy will get you a decent blood trail most of the time. I think it depends more on the shooter than the broadhead.

I'm going to say the magnus stinger 100 either the 2-blade or, the 4 blade which has two small bleeder blades. I saw a guy shoot a 350 lb. wild hog at 35 yards almost a complete pass through. He shoots 28" draw mathews LX, at 60# with a moderate weight arrow. Also my friend up around tulsa shot a deer that was almost walking straight away. It went in just to the right of the right rear leg, went all the way through the body cavity and came out between her front legs. The blood trail looked like someone took a hose and walked it along.

I think that out of your setup the only mechanical that'll give you a better blood trail than a 3 blade fixed and that I'd consider using with your KE levels would be the Snyper. It definitely does better than say a thunderhead or a ti100 in that regard. But if accuracy isn't an issue and all I wanted was a better blood trail with your setup I'd go to a 4 blade like a slicktrick and stick with the fixed head.

Mike, NAP made them for a long time.......but discontinued them a couple of years ago.

I never shot any (like 3 blades) but I have a buddy that shot them and they put a good hole in a deer !!

I have had good bllod trails with rockies, muzzies, thunderheads and vortex 2 and 3 blades. The best was probably from the 3 blade muzzy's (125) for fixed blade heads and 3 blade vortex for mechanicals. I didn't care for thunderheads overall performance and with the vortex heads I would recommend heavy arrows.

I've been bowhunting for seventeen years, and have used Mussy's on all my deer but two. I wanted to try some Spitfires just because they fly exactly like a feild point. The first deer I shot with the Spitfire, was at 8 yds. jumped & went about 10 yds. stood there and tipped over dead. The next with the spitfire ran full boar and died around 50 yds. away with a great blood trail. These were both perfectly broad side shots. This past fall I hit a nice Buck with perfect arrow placement, the dear was quartering away. I hit him behind the shoulder and hit nothing but muscle & fat. My arrow glanced severly! No blood just alot off hair, the arrow went in around one foot and fell out as he ran away. I guess that the arrow went between the leg and chest cavity.
So mechanical's work great broad side, but I've learned my lesson.
