Ah, but in this case, Frank, their information just happens to be factual. ;)

Really, I've seen stop action and slo-mo videos of various fletchings before. Also, I've used feather fletchings since starting out in 1955. I use vanes sometimes, but they are nowhere near the equal of a good set of feathers.

From what I've seen and experienced, the folks at Truflight are not 'exaggerating', at all.
