467 gr/260 f/s how about you
 

I got my "new" used bow rigged out on Monday. My Matthews fx is now shooting a 467 gr arrow flying 260 feet/second. That should get the job done! I was very impressed with this because my last bow only shot about 228 f/s with a lighter arrow. I am in hog heaven right now. I can't wait until hunting season to try it out. I may get a chance at hog hunting before then.

What grain and speed do you have?

Congrat's ........all the FX's I've seen get good speed !

I'm shooting an Outback ......getting 282 fps with a 450 grain arrow !!

560 gn arrow at 220 fps. Slow by today's standards, but a heckuva lot faster than my longbows and recurves.:)

Once again I shoot the slowest bow in the world:eek::eek:

70lb, 29.5" 2003 Patriot - 370 grn 285 fps...........

I need to shot thru some of these guys chronos.........:D;)

I was thinking the same thing. We may hit 300fps with the hunting setup then;)
