Speed is alot of fun, exciting and good for the ego.
For me it's about 'shot placement', my fatigued bones & muscles.
I shoot 57#, 27.5 DL, GT 3555--358 G @ 254 fps (Rocket Steelheads) and have enjoyed myself immensely over the years.

I have to assume it is about shot placement for everyone that hunts. If not some people need to reconsider. It's about shot placement for me personally also. I am fortunate enough to have a 30" draw and to be able to pull 70lbs extrmely easily so I get to have both.

440 gr =240 fps. With wheels 29 inch draw and a 56 pound pull.

Not to shabby for a longbow!
