I don't know about the judo backing. My buddy uses Muzzy's, Spitfires, and montecs.
Strait up, just like he wa hunting deer.
Him and his crew have probably got around 15 or so in the last couple years. Haven't had one get away yet.

I use Spitfire 100's Gobbler Getters with the Muzzy Grasshoppers backing up the broadhead, they are very much the same as a judo they slow the arrow down from passing through the turkey. I've used the Grasshoppers for 4 years now and they work great .

I use the 125 gr gobbler getters without any backing and have been happy with them. I had a couple birds run pretty far with straight thunderheads but since swithching the the blunt point on the gobbler getter they have all stayed right where they were shot.

if you have a bow set up specifically for turkeys i would probably put some sort of grasshopper on it. i like to shoot the sma eset up for everything so i just switch from fixed broadheads to any expandable (NAP Spitfires) in the same grain that way i do not have to adjust anything. Look for a good expandable with the largest cutting diameter in your head weight remember how small the spot is for turkeys compared with deer or elk. Good luck and hope you get drawn back on one this season.
