Finally picked up my Hoyt Vipertec, and I really enjoy this bow. I put A NAP Quicktune 2000 drop away with a sims stabilizer and I am Easton Axis 340 arrows at exactly 423 grains. My Bow is maxed out at 73 pounds and I am 273 fps. This is a sweet little bow, and I will definetly enjoy this one out of the treestand at only 32 inches axle to axle. This bow is already outshooting my Matthew Q2XL that I had for 3 years. I will be putting the Matthews in storage for now. Really like this new HOYT. Anyone else own a Hoyt Vipertec Can you give me your setup and your reports.

Matthews,
Your setup sounds very similar to what I have been using in terms of the arrow shafts and size, draw weight, rest style and stabilizer. I had a Vipertec late last year/early this year and was very pleased with its shooting characteristics and overall performance. I did a little min-review of it and believe that it is over on the bowhunting gear forum.

After I had gotten my Vipertec I was going to trade it in for the Xtec. After shooting the Vipertec a little more I fell in love with it. I absolutely love this little bow and it has been great to shoot. I have mine setup with a Spot Hogg Hog it sight, Trophy Ridge Dropzone rest, and Carolina Archery Stabilizer. I think it's a great little bow and can't wait to put it to the real test in September. Glad you like it, I'm very pleased with mine!
